Sessions absent on contempt vote
Pete Sessions joined 172 of his fellow Republicans in not casting a vote for H.Res. 982, finding Harriet Miers and Joshua Bolten in contempt of Congress for ignoring subpoenas issued by the Judiciary Committee. The Resolution passed 223-32 without the help of the 173 members of the so-called "law and order party" who refused to vote. Read about the bill at the Library of Congress, where you may also find the roster of votes for Roll Call 60.
