Pete Sessions votes no to Credit Card Holders' Bill of Rights
In yet another overwhemlingly bipartisan piece of legislation, the House passed H.R. 627, "To amend the Truth in Lending Act to establish fair and transparent practices relating to the extension of credit under an open end consumer credit plan, and for other purposes." The bill passed 357 - 70 (see Roll no. 228) with Pete Sessions among those in the minority who voted no.
