For the first time in a long time, Pete Sessions joined the overwhelming bipartisan majority to support H.R. 2346, Supplemental Appropriations, FY 2009. In yet another overwhemlingly bipartisan piece of legislation, the House passed H.R. 627, "To amend the Truth in Lending Act to establish fair and transparent practices relating to the extension of credit under an open end consumer credit plan, and for other purposes." The bill passed 357 - 70 (see Roll no. 228) with Pete Sessions among those in the minority who voted no.
