Pete Sessions slid under the radar and claimed 62.61% percent of the vote, climbing over the 60% mark for the first time ever, aided, no doubt, by the Keep Fear Alive brigade.

Pete Sessions (REP 62.61% 79,181
Grier Raggio (DEM) 34.90% 44,134
John Jay Myers (LIB) 2.50% 3,159

saw him on tv on election night right next to blubbering Bohener, so he didn't even bother to go to the Dallas county GOP parties.
Wow. Unbelievable. I was at least hoping John Jay Myers would take a 10% bite out of Sessions' numbers, sending him back to Congress with something like 45%. Can't believe that in this anti-incumbent, anti-Washington year, people actually voted in larger numbers for Sessions.
Folks voted for the 'R' because it wasn't a 'D'....
